Here to help you find your focus and feel better.
Rachel Morrell, LICSW
Quality care with someone who cares.
Sessions with me should feel like a conversation with someone who wants you to feel empowered and valued. Together we will validate your emotions and identify helpful solutions to the issues you are facing.
I am available Monday-Friday 9am-4pm CST and currently licensed in Alabama, Colorado and Maine.
Building skills and self-confidence
I am here to provide quality and compassionate mental health care. I work with individuals from all walks of life and aim to help people manage their anxiety, improve their sense of wellbeing, and elevate their overall quality of life. When working with adults with ADHD, I am particularly empathetic as I myself was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood. The majority of the tools or emotions we discuss in session are often approaches I have used before as well!
A realistic approach
Sometimes the tools don’t feel like the right fit or that reframe we discussed in session last week just wasn’t cutting it when you had a rough day. Trust me, I get it. Sometimes therapy isn’t about ‘fixing’ it, but making room for the mess and not beating yourself up in the process.
Education is everything
My goal is for you to leave every session with more information than you came in with that day. This looks like understanding your own experiences through a compassionate lens and pairing it with research-based education wherever possible to offer additional validity to whatever you are experiencing.
